Dave began acting in his early 30s, starting in community theatre, then branching out into improv. One night, he received a call from a fellow improviser who said, "My agent, Barb Coultish, is seeking guys who look Russian." Dave resembled a particular Russian. A new chapter in his acting adventure was launched that lead to a lot of background work and, eventually, speaking roles.
